How It Works

Book Your Appointment Online

Visit our booking page and select the date and time that works for you.

Enter your contact info and book! You will receive an email to confirm the appointment. Please note that payment in NON-REFUNDABLE

If you schedule your appointment with us at least 48 hours before the date, our office will assist you in booking your Blood test and X-ray appointment for you.

ook your X-ray appointment online here. Ensure your Xray appointment  is AFTER  your medical examination with the panel physician

Submit the Following Information Online

IME or UCI  (if you have these).

Copy of passport for each person Requiring medical examination.

Full residential address.

Phone Number.

Email Address.

NB medicare (if available).

Bring the Following to the Examination

A list of all current medications, Glasses or contacts (if required).

Your original travel passport and/or a Government issued identity.

Medicare card if you have one (not Required for medical exam).

Your IME number or Client ID number, Except if this is an upfront medical.

An interpreter if you require one.

Appointments are available everyday of the week
Our office can help arrange same day blood test and X-ray appointment at the Saint John Regional Hospital if you schedule your immigration medical examination appointment at least 48 hours before. 
You can also book your X-ray appointment online here

We will take a passport picture at the time of your appointment. You will be required to provide a urine sample if you are five years of age or older. A bottle will be provided.

If you are having your period at the time of the medical we will provide opportunity to do your urine sample when your period is over. If you are trying to get pregnant and have not had your period by your appointment date, you are advised take a pregnancy test before coming to your appointment to make sure it is safe for you to have your chest X-ray. If you wish to proceed with the X-ray, you may with an X-ray shield.

Following your Immigration Medical Examination, it will be necessary for you to go for blood work and/or X-ray at one of the New Brunswick Hospitals (for chest X-ray: all applicants over 11 years of age; and for blood work (non-fasting): all applicants 15 years of age and over).

Ensure your Xray appointment is AFTER your medical examination at the doctor's office.

Immigration Medical Exam Process

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will provide you with instructions on when to get your medical exam done. Once you receive the instructions, follow the steps below. If you are getting an upfront medical exam, please contact us anytime.

You visit our clinic for your Immigration Medical Exam.

We submit your exam results online to the government.

Once your immigration medical exam test results are available, we electronically securely transmit the results and examination findings to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. We will also email you a document with your case number (IME/UMI) to confirm that you have completed your exam. If you wish to have a copy of your medical report, you can request that here or send an email to request for one.

Please arrive at least 20 minutes BEFORE your appointment time. We require 24 hours’ notice if you are going to cancel your appointment.  If you do not give us sufficient notice or if you fail to keep your appointment you will  loose you non-refundable deposit. Please note that you an reschedule your appointment  without loosing your deposit.

    Immigration Medical Exam at the office Age 0-10 $170; ($120 CUAET) Age 11-70 $185; ($150 CUAET) Age 71+ $200; ($180 CUAET) *Plus tax Hospital cost: The cost of the blood work and chest x-ray (Hospital accepts Visa, MasterCard or debit): $180.10 (Medicare card not required)
  • How long will it take?
    It could take up to 2 weeks to get your medical submitted with IRCC
  • How do I know my medical is submitted?
    You will get an email.
  • Can I get a copy of my Medical report?
    Yes, you can request a copy
