If you schedule your appointment with us at least 48 hours before the date, our office will assist you in booking your Blood test and X-ray appointment for you.

Submit the Following Information Online
IME or UCI (if you have these).
Copy of passport for each person Requiring medical examination.
Full residential address.
NB medicare (if available).
Bring the Following to the Examination
A list of all current medications, Glasses or contacts (if required).
Your original travel passport and/or a Government issued identity.
Medicare card if you have one (not Required for medical exam).
Your IME number or Client ID number, Except if this is an upfront medical.
An interpreter if you require one.
Appointments are available everyday of the week
Our office can help arrange same day blood test and X-ray appointment at the Saint John Regional Hospital if you schedule your immigration medical examination appointment at least 48 hours before.

We will take a passport picture at the time of your appointment. You will be required to provide a urine sample if you are five years of age or older. A bottle will be provided.
If you are having your period at the time of the medical we will provide opportunity to do your urine sample when your period is over. If you are trying to get pregnant and have not had your period by your appointment date, you are advised take a pregnancy test before coming to your appointment to make sure it is safe for you to have your chest X-ray. If you wish to proceed with the X-ray, you may with an X-ray shield.
Following your Immigration Medical Examination, it will be necessary for you to go for blood work and/or X-ray at one of the New Brunswick Hospitals (for chest X-ray: all applicants over 11 years of age; and for blood work (non-fasting): all applicants 15 years of age and over).
Immigration Medical Exam Process
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada will provide you with instructions on when to get your medical exam done. Once you receive the instructions, follow the steps below. If you are getting an upfront medical exam, please contact us anytime.
You visit our clinic for your Immigration Medical Exam.
The initial immigration examination is done at the office, this will include providing a urine sample for all clients over the age of 5 years. Once this is done, you can proceed to one of the new Brunswick hospitals to complete your blood test and X-ray. Please be aware that you might have to pre-book your investigation appointment with most of the NB hospitals. You cannot do the investigations without first seeing the panel physician.
We submit your exam results online to the government.
Once your immigration medical exam test results are available, we electronically securely transmit the results and examination findings to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. We will also email you a document with your case number (IME/UMI) to confirm that you have completed your exam. If you wish to have a copy of your medical report, you can request that here or send an email to request for one.

Please arrive at least 20 minutes BEFORE your appointment time. We require 24 hours’ notice if you are going to cancel your appointment. If you do not give us sufficient notice or if you fail to keep your appointment you will loose you non-refundable deposit. Please note that you an reschedule your appointment without loosing your deposit.
